Recessed Lighting
Light Bulq's Recessed Lighting collection currently features two retrofit LED downlights: a 3-inch 8W fixture with 5 selectable color temperatures (2700K–5000K) and Triac dimmable operation for standard residential and commercial cans, and a 4-inch MR16 12V retrofit designed for existing low-voltage recessed track systems; for installations that skip the can housing entirely, see our Canless Downlights collection.
3-Inch vs. 4-Inch vs. MR16 12V Retrofit
- 3-Inch Retrofit (8W, 5 CCT) — drops into a standard 3-inch recessed can, with a switch on the fixture to select 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K. Dimmable on standard Triac wall dimmers.
- 4-Inch MR16 12V Retrofit — replaces an MR16 bulb in a low-voltage 12V recessed track or gimbal system. Requires an existing 12V transformer in the circuit; not compatible with standard 120V cans.
